I am looking for some modest undershirts. Everything I have tried that I think will work still ends up being a little too wide in the neck for me. I know there are some good online companies, but I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to what your favorites are.

My undershirts are from Modbe and I really like them. I have white cap-sleeved undershirts, white camis, and a brown 3/4 sleeve shirt. It will be interesting to hear where other people shop too, so I'll be checking back in.
i have tried TONS and like a little bit of each. Downeast, Shade, Modbe, modbod (which may have changed its name), Layers, coverwear...Downeast is cheapest, but tend to be a little cheaply made - some of the stitching on mine have come undone. Love their lace camis the best. Love Shade's cap sleeve (so soft and comfy), and love the swimsuits at Layers. I don't think I helped you at all........ :-)
ps, how do you know jamie??? and jamie, how do you know melissa?? small world...
Also, I just noticed Costco now sells modbod shirts. I haven't seen them there before so they must be pretty new (like within the last 2 or 3 weeks.) They had 3 different styles. I've never tried them but Jackie says she likes them so they might be worth a try. Costco also sells Shade shirts too. Can't say anything from experience but at least you have two fairly cheap options there, at least cheaper than Modbe. (I bought mine at a huge outlet sale a couple months ago... $5 for each shirt. It was great!)
PS Jackie, Melissa and I lived in the 900 court at the U. She actually moved into our old 2-bedroom apartment when we moved to a three. I think we gave them our crappy washer when we left too. I think? Yep, small world!
Hey, that washer worked great! We were sad to give it up :)
Hey, I am a fan of shade.
i love downeast outfitters. They usually sell a lot of their colored shirts on clearance. Never their neutral colors though. I also have three shade shirts and the stitching has come out of the necks on two of the three. Very cheaply made. Anyway, I think it is time we get together again! Maybe towards the end of April. TJ has been working over 100 hours each week! He's has been falling asleep by 7 each night!
My SIL wears the ones from DownEastBasics called the Wonder Tees. I've noticed that they even sell them through Deseret Book, so they have to be completely modest :). I keep wanting to try them, but haven't gotten around to ordering them.
I purchased some from Apricot Apparel. They fit nicely and I liked the variety. I also like the way the neck seams and hems are sewn and they come with or without lace at the bottom and in cap, 3/4 or long sleeved.
